Printing
File Delivery Policy
- Final files will be delivered digitally as print-ready PDFs.
- Families can then forward these PDFs to their chosen local printer.
- Highlighting A Life does not handle physical printing.
- Families will have the option to have the obituary available online for family and guests to see. A QR code will be given to Family to distribute.
Proof & Delivery Policy
- Families will receive an initial proof for review before final delivery.
- Proofs are provided with a temporary watermark to prevent accidental or unauthorized printing.
- Once the final balance is paid, the watermark is removed and print-ready PDFs are delivered.
- Final files are delivered digitally only. Families arrange their own printing with a local provider.
- Highlighting A Life is not a printing company.
Terms and Conditions

Deposit & Payments
- A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
- The remaining balance must be paid before final files are delivered.
- All payments are non-refundable once work has started.
Proof & Approval
- Families will receive a proof before delivery.
- Proofs are provided with a temporary watermark to prevent unauthorized use.
- Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included.
- Additional revisions are billed at $20 per round.
- Once the final proof is approved, no further changes will be accepted. New requests require a new order.
Revision Policy (highlighted separately)
- Included: 2 rounds of revisions.
- Additional: $20 per round beyond the included two.
- Final Proof: No changes permitted after approval.
File Delivery
- Final files are delivered digitally only as print-ready PDFs.
- Highlighting A Life is not a printing company; families arrange their own printing with a provider of choice.
Turnaround Time
- Standard turnaround: proof provided within __ business day(s) after deposit and receipt of all content.

Proofs & Social Media
- All proofs shared, including on social media, will include a visible “Preview Only” watermark.
- Preview images are for review only and are not intended for printing or distribution.
- Final unwatermarked files are released only after balance payment is completed.
Archiving
- Final files are stored for 60 days after delivery.
- After 60 days, Highlighting A Life cannot guarantee file availability.
- Requests for re-delivery or updates after that period may incur a fee.
